Diwali  2022

India is a country of festivals and Deepawali is the largest festival celebrated by Hindus in India.

This festival is celebrated every year on the new moon day of Kartik month. Due to the special festival of lamps, it is named Deepawali Yad Diwali.

The festival of Deepawali is celebrated with great pomp in India and in many other countries.  Deepawali is also called the festival of lamps.

Deepawali is celebrated with great fervor in India because, on this day, King Rama of Ayodhya returned to Ayodhya along with Sita Lakshman after destroying the tyrannical king Ravana of Lanka and cutting the exile of 14 years.  He is in the joy of victory and arrival.

The people of Ayodhya had illuminated the entire city with lamps.
