Introduction
Essay on Independence Day – Our country is called a country of festivals. Many social festivals are celebrated here, which people celebrate according to their faith and belief. But there are three festivals that people from all over the country celebrate with full enthusiasm and gaiety. These are called national festivals. These festivals are Independence Day, Republic Day, and Gandhi Jayanti.
Independence Day is our important festival. This festival is celebrated on 15 August. On 15 August 1947, our country was freed from English slavery. After centuries, the people of the country breathed in the open air.
The leaders of the country had dreams of taking the country to new heights. Every citizen of the country was filled with joy and hope. After nearly 100 years of struggle, that moment of independence was destined for us.
We celebrate our love and duty towards the country by celebrating Independence Day. This glorious day in the history of India reminds us of our duty towards the nation. We should always remember the importance of this holy day.
Freedom fighter
It was not so easy for India to get independence from the British government. We have been celebrating this day since 1947 with great enthusiasm and happiness. On this day, the national flag is hoisted at all schools, government offices. National songs are sung and tribute is paid to all these great martyrs who have tried for freedom.
In our capital New Delhi, our Prime Minister hoists the national flag at the Red Fort. This festival or day is celebrated with great pomp and show. Tributes are paid to all the martyrs. The Prime Minister gives the message to the nation or Many meetings and programs are organized. Independence Day is also celebrated in the states with celebrations in which the Governor and Chief Minister of the state are the chief guests.
Conclusion
This day has historical significance. On remembering this day, the forehead automatically bowed with reverence to those martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the sacrifice of freedom. Therefore, it is our duty to protect our freedom. Bribe, hoarding, black marketing ended the country. As a citizen of India, I neither abuse freedom nor let others do it.
